Cheat menu
The cheat menu allows you to change to any dog, select any stage, move to any position in the level and increase the number of bones you have.
To open up the cheat menu you need to type in this code at any time during gameplay:
, , hold , hold , hold , left, right, down. Now by pressing 'Select' and navigating to the Settings menu you will find a new entry called Cheats. From here you can do any of the actions described above.Moves and tricks
Begging moves are unlocked by completing Doggy-do games and will not all be available immediately.

Regain health - You can replenish your health by begging for treats from humans. You have a higher chance of success if you're clean and using better begging moves such as beg 4 and beg 5.
Treats from animals - By pick up a small animal like a cat, skunk or a chicken you can get a treat from it. Growl with the animal still in your mouth and you'll shake all of its fur or feathers off, skunks will spray you if you do this but if you press circle hard you will throw them hard into the air. This will then give you time to get out of the way before it sprays you.
Free bath - You can clean yourself without visiting a salon. Enter a body of water like a lake and remain there for a short while, then get out and shake yourself dry. Repeat this until you are completely clean.
Free bones - In the starting area on Jake's farm, play the basketball game by getting the ball in the hoop three times. You will get a bone for completing it but if you leave and then return you can repeat the mini-game adn get another bone. Repeat this until you've got as many bones as you want.
Different collars - Everytime you use a salon you will get a different coloured collar, try using it repeatedly until you have one you want.
